WEISSES LAND

WEISSES LAND

Weisses Land was composed in a yurt in New Mexico. With a life as close to nature this experience influenced especially the rhythmic part of the compositions. The grand piano is turned into an inexhaustible source of natural and alienated sounds. Electronic elements break, upgrade and accelerate the accoustic experience and intensifies it into the bargain. The music is vivid, exciting, entertaining and as much elaborate as it is passionate. This CD marks the beginning of a long-term cooperation with the drummer Eric Schaefer.

“Weisses Land translates my emotions and recent experiences during workshops and concerts in different parts of this world. Afghanistan, Siberia, Ukraine, Madeira and New Mexico, my music reflects the unforgettable impressions of people’s life and the nature that harbours us all.”
