The year took off so fast that I find myself catching up with events…Preparing the Rainbirds anniversary tour, planning solo concerts in Denmark, creating a new musical radio play, and working on engaged projects with friends: it’s been wonderfully busy already in challenging times. Yohji Yamamoto describes his fashion art as a form of resistance, a sentiment that resonates across the arts right now, as the world presents us with profound challenges.

The events already unfolding in 2026 with incredible speed will influence all of us in our creative processes and artistic work. Concerts and new audio plays are therefore driven by the wish to counter the world with something positive, to inspire independent thought, and to help us connect with our own inner resources.

The Rainbirds anniversary tour from May to July 2026 will feature music from all seven albums, and we’re currently deep in preparation for the concerts.  It will be exciting, full of musical joy and compelling music.

And last but not least, I’m delighted that my audio play ‚Nichts ist sagt der Weise‘ about the later life of Mascha Kaléko in letters, essays, and haikus, has been nominated for the German Audiobook Prize. In March, we’ll find out who the lucky winners will be.
