New video release. The Landscapes behind Haage’s latest CD ALLES LICHT. Filmed in Langeland, DK, by Neil Huggett.

During the pandemic, Ulrike Haage discovered the organ as a new voice in her music. Together with the grand piano, she began shaping a sound world that had not existed before. A dialogue between two instruments that opened new horizons. The new video release offers a glimpse into this creative journey. Filmed on the island itself, it reveals the places that inspired the music; trees, land-art, sea, sky, and connects them with the sound of organ and piano. It is both a “making-of” and a meditation: a way to see and hear how nature and music intertwine, and how ALLES LICHT opens a space for contemplating ways of listening.

In Frankfurter Rundschau, Hans-Jürgen Linke describes our newest release Sternenhimmel – Hör-Kino der Nacht as a deeply evocative album, in which Ulrike Haage (with instruments like the celesta, harmonium, piano) and Eric Schaefer (orchestral percussion and even “moon rock”) create soundscapes that make the myths of stars audible.

Karsten Zimalla, Westzeit writes: Fantastic music full of contrasts – between focused meditation and sophisticated improvisation!

Thank you for the appreciative reviews of our album, so wonderfully expressed in such a concise way.
