November News

Wortwelten Ludwigsburg presents „Musik ist wo Du bist, dein Stirb und Werde“ on November 14. In the recording hall of the legendary Bauer Studios, literature and sound art meet. Literary scholar Nikola Herweg, who curates the Mascha Kaléko archive at the German Literature Archive Marbach, and the award-winning composer, pianist, and radio play artist Ulrike Haage explore the musicality in the life and work of Mascha Kaléko. Through conversation, archival images, and musical interludes, a many-voiced portrait of the poet unfolds. At its center is the award-winning RBB radio play “Nichts ist sagt der Weise” produced by the #cross-disciplinary composer Haage to mark Kaléko’s 50th anniversary of her death, enriched with live piano improvisations and previously unknown discoveries from the archive.
